Notification Corner for Windows Phone by nik255 Notification Corner for Windows Phone by nik255
Many Windows Phone users miss a kind of notification center that shows all current notifications at a glance. That is why I dealt with it, how to implement such a function, and the result is the "Notification Corner". If new notifications are available, they are displayed with a colored rectangle. To open the notification screen you only need to tap on the rectangle. The "Notification Corner" gives you an overview on setting and current releases such as messages, e-mails, updates, events, etc.

I would be very grateful if one or the other could give a feedback. If you like my concept, share it ;) Thanks in advance :)

I think this is a brilliant idea.

I would like to see a "Swipe to reveal" type thing though. It seems that windows phones are more about gestures.

GOOD JOB :)

looks nicer now, the coloured background is nice enough, maybe only for 'urgent notifications' though.
Minimal Microsoft logo too eh?

Good point to use the colored background only for “urgent notifications”. But then the question is which notifications should be urgent?
What do you mean with “Minimal Microsoft logo too eh?”?

the minimal Microsoft logo from minimally minimal [link] i.e the slash inside of the four squares.
Urgent notifications could be user specified otherwise things like the 2 messages and the meeting as opposed to the updates.
but if it were user specified it could be more 'Google now' ish providing notifications on what you want. Like you could specify that an update to the Facebook app is urgent or the like

Yep, I know this fantastic rework of the Microsoft logos. But why are you telling me this? Until now I haven’t used Google Now. Therefore I didn’t know that it has this clever feature. Thank you for your comment.

Nice, but I think the background is unneeded (it makes it stand out too much, doesn't fit with the rest of the notification tray). I love the 75% tile.

Is the corner going to be system wide or something only on the start screen. If only on start how do I access my notifications from an app?

The notification corner is going to be system-wide. Finally you should be able to access your notifications from everywhere.
