This is a concept I made for a further Microsoft Surface tablet: It is the Surface Companion also known as Surface mini. The Surface Companion is made on the Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset, 4GB RAM and has a 7.9″ 2K display with 2048x1536 pixels. As well as the other Surface tablets Surface Companion crafted from the molten magnesium alloy VaporMg. It has MicroSDXC, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort Video, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, LTE, NFC and 2×2 MIMO antennae. It also houses a 44 W-h replaceable battery and itis equipped with front- and rear-facing LifeCam with 1080p HD. The tablet comes with 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal memory. Moreover the device comes with the magnetic digital ink stylus (which attaches to the top of the tablet) so that you can write on it. Windows is able to detect the proximity of the pen and intelligently stops taking touch input.
I would be very grateful if one or the other could give a feedback. If you like my concept, share it Thanks in advance
Looks awesome. Only problem with vertical is the keyboard not acting very well as a cover...
But your design looks very sleek and cool! After writing on the Surface Pro I can't take any other tablet with writing options seriously. They all seem like a joke after I tried handwriting on the Surface Pro. Really hope to see them make the pen a standard part of the Surface in any future models because they really nailed it.
This looks awesome and all, but you kind of missed the point with the keyboard cover. its useless in that orientation and you might as well use a usb keyboard or dock. That and windows 8 apps are best suited for landscape view, not portrait. But I like the vertical design a lot, and it makes it look real nice.
the surface costs $270 to make, they sell it for $500 minimum. the touch cover costs $16 for them to make. They sell it for $100. They don't sell a lot, but they make a lot. Also this is way better than the Surface, although the 4 gb RAM is too much for an RT machine.
Very nice! I would change the bezel and make it more inline with the Surface because it kind of looks like a Nexus 7. Also I can't tell if there is a kick stand. Other than that its great!
